Those who've followed Bogus Pomp over the years may know that we've evolved into a chamber orchestra, an integration of a 10-piece electric band with 15 orchestral players.

The Bogus Pomp Orchestra

If you don't know who we are, please see the rest of our site at www.boguspomp.com

Anyway, here are a few cuts from a concert we did on August 21st, 2004 at the Tampa Theater in Tampa, Florida. These pieces were orchestrated and conducted by Tom Trapp who, incidentally, played drums with us for a short stint and remains our close friend and arranger. Tom's orchestrations are based on in part Bogus Pomp's electric band arrangements as well as his amazing ideas. As a result, these are unique arrangements of Frank Zappa's compositions you'll never hear anywhere else and the sound quality is quite good. We hope you enjoy them.
